Wedding Party!
The girls:
Maid of Honor: Danielle
Danielle is my sister; pretty self-explanatory.
Bridesmaid: Stephanie
Steph has been my roomate for going on three years now, and one of my best friends. We're both clarinet majors and Brothers of Kappa Kappa Psi; we met during our membership candidate 'pledge' process.
Bridesmaid: Jennifer
Along with Steph, Jen has also been a great roomate and one of my best friends in West Chester. She's also a member of my Fraternity, and a fellow music major on trumpet. We also met freshman year rushing for Kappa Kappa Psi.
Bridesmaid: Lauren
Lauren and I have been good friends from high school. Even though I've been away at school, we've still maintained our friendship. Together we've bared the brunt of high school and come out the other end mostly whole.
Bridesmaid: Sarah
Sarah has also been a fellow band kid ever since high school. In fact, she's the one who introduced me to music and "suggested lightly" that I join band in 8th grade.
Brett: Diana says Becky is cool and is her resident Diva/life coach.
Diana: That's because she IS cool and IS my resident Diva/life coach.
The Guys:
Best Man: Brandon
Brandon is Brett's older brother, but we all know Brandon's son Gavon steals the show in this picture. ;-)
Groomsman: Micah
If only I could post all of the crazy things Micah and I have done... we'll have to take those stories to the grave. Micah and Brett were choir boys all throughout their Bellefonte school days. During one festival while the women's chorus was rehearsing, Brett and Micah were chilling out in the auditorium seats with their arms around each other's chair backs. One of the guys from another school came up to them and asked them, "dude, are you guys gay?" No, neither Brett or Micah are gay, but share some pretty awesome memories of their youthful shananigans.
Groomsman: Brian
Brett's friend since... well, forever. Our moms worked together and when Brett moved into Brian's development, we hung out pretty much every day. Brett and Brian's greatest accomplishment was making it through the entire "ultimate setlist" on Rockband over the course of about six to eight hours. Needless to say, our most hated song is Green Grass and High Tides, but it was all worth it for the gold stars now next to their names on the game. Brian also makes appearances as "Tequila Boy" at the local Home Delivery.
Groomsman: Nick
The actual origins of how Brett met Nick is a little fuzzy. They met back in middle school as "choir boys" and spent many hours in the Fine Arts wing at Bellefonte High. Nick may not like this memory in particular, but Nick was the recipient of some pretty hard blows by Brett in high school physical education. Nick and Brett were playing tennis on the same team when Brett went back to return a serve... only to return it directly into Nick's face. All is well though, any time Brett needs to be brought back to earth, Nick is always there to deliver a reality check.
Groomsman: Brendan
To be honest, Brett and Brendan never really interacted with each other at Bellefonte High. They had a mutual friend with Brian, but didn't start really hanging out until they were students at Penn State. They actually have matching hats for their "man dates" when everyone else is working or not in town. BTW, he's a pretty good vocalist for "Fapping Out Loud" on Rock Band.
Drum major, friend, and World Champion... Justin is part of the WCU crew and pretty much lives at Diana/Steph/and Jen's apartment (he lives a door away).
